Taabinga Station, in Queensland's South Burnett is an historic cattle station first settled in 1846. Taabinga continues as a working property, lovingly maintained by decedents of the pioneering Youngman's, the Leu and Leu-Marshall families. Current enterprises include cattle production, vineyard and farmstay accommodation.

The main town for the South Burnett region, Kingaroy, is 220 kilometres north-west of Brisbane. Taabinga Station is 20 kilometres west of Kingaroy.

The district offers an abundance of things to do and see. Visit the Bunya Mountains, bush walks, historic towns and homes, festivals, fishing and bird watching to mention just a few.

The South Burnett is also Queensland's latest addition to the wine trail, stretching from Murgon in the north to Maclagan in the south.

Taabinga Station and its homestead are right in the middle of the South Burnett and offer a choice of cottage accommodation, ranging from an intimate single bedroom cottage once used as the station's storehouse to a three bedroom house, "Jack's Cottage", built in 1909 and set in expansive and peaceful gardens.

Taabinga Station will fulfil all your requirements for a quiet, relaxing country experience and is perfect for children. Have a look at our photo gallery.
